At Carmel Golf Club, we are proud to have a team of experienced and dedicated coaches who are passionate about the game of golf. Our coaches work closely with our players to help them develop their skills and reach their full potential. Meet our team below!
DAMIAN NEELD
CLUB PRESIDENT & COACH
Damian Neeld is the club president and a coach at Carmel Golf Club. He is also the JV Coach of Carmel HS Boys Golf. Damian is passionate about helping young players develop their skills and reach their full potential.

Coach Neeld has been working with Coach Reid since 2007 when they coached the girls at Heritage Christian together.
CHARD REID
HEAD COACH
Chard Reid is the men's varsity head coach at Carmel High School. He is entering his 15th season as a varsity coach, and this will be his th season with CHS.
​
Coach Reid coached the Hounds to back-to-back state championship in 2018 & 2019 after a runner-up finish in 2017.
​
He was recognized as the State Coach of the Year in 2019 and the NFHS Sectional (Midwest) Coach of the Year in 2019. He was also the 2018 Carmel High School Teacher of the Year.

Doug Reinken
COACH
Doug Reinken is an avid golfer who played high school golf at Lawrence Central. Doug is beginning his 2nd year with CGC and enjoys developing players' passion for the game of golf.
